attached please find a short infographic about the top 5 exchanges that are including the new web traffic algorithm from Coinmarketcap. This ranking is not anymore based purely on the volume of exchange but also shows the data adding the web traffic of a cryptocurrency exchange.
We can see that US-based Coinbase and Kraken do not need that much pairs and volume to rank high. Binance on the other side does offer the most pairs up to the top 20 rankings from Coinmarketcap and also shows the highest volume.
It has to be considered for Binance that they are also running country based services like Binance.us or Binance.kr. As an example, Binance.us is ranking on the 13th place on this ranking.
Huobi is showing a similar 24-hour volume compared to Binance and is also offering a very high number of pairs to trade. Bitfinex, also related to USDT is placed on the 5th rank and does show its influence in the cryptocurrency scene.
