The first IEO from Steemhunt at IDCM was very successful and reached 100% of the target within the first 3 minutes. As IDCM was allowing to overachieve the target, the final result was almost 150% and more than 5 Million HUNT tokens sold. As many Steemians have waited for an IEO where you can buy yourself in with Steem, this event is coming near and I would like to prepare all interested Steemians for this.

1. What is an IEO?

IEO means “Initial Exchange Offering”. When an ICO is planned and executed from the project itself, an IEO is done from an exchange, which means that at least one party and layer more was involved to check if a project is legit and workable for an IEO or not. For Steemhunt the first IEO at IDCM was very successful and the second IEO with Probit is also really promising, as it is going to be the first ever IEO where you can buy the Tokens with Steem. I have talked with the Steemhunt team and it seems that they had long talks with Probit and managed to convince them to establish Steem also as trading pair for the IEO at Probit. Thanks to the @probit team!

b. Price : 0.02USD / HUNT
c. 1) Bonus: 15%

3. Prepare yourself for the IEO

I got some complaints from potential investors who didn’t know that they need to finish the KYC at the exchange to be able to participate at the IEO. Unfortunately, it takes normally up to 24 hours to finish the whole process for KYC, so it is recommended to start with the signup earlier and finish the KYC process before the IEO starts. The main reason for that is, that the available Qty. at Probit is not that big with 7,5 Million HUNTs and you need to be ready and fast if you want to be one of the first 30 persons who benefit additionally from the special sales event.

a. Preparation

 * Sign Up at Probit : [www.probit.com](https://www.probit.com/r/58160411) with your email. There is a verification of your email requested. (Please be aware that there is a referral link included. Please connect directly to https://www.probit.com to avoid the referral) * Verify your ID:  1) You are requested to input your full name, address, 2) You will be asked to identify yourself with your Passport, Identity Card or Driver's license (may vary based on your country) 3) The verification service is handled by [Netverify.com](https://portal.netverify.com/login) by Jumio 4) In my case, the service asked also for a photo from myself to identify that I am the holder of the identification. 5) After that, you will get back to probit.com and see a message that the verification can take up to 7 days. 6) I have asked Probit through Steemhunt and for the Korean KYC (which is even more strict with 4 steps) Probits answer was that it will normally take about a day to finish the KYC process.

4. IEO Event at Probit


Like at the first IEO, also Probit prepared a Sales event and from my experience at the first IEO, the investors did their best in the first minutes to grab that bonus. There is a bonus for the top 5 investors buying most of HUNT tokens and a 5000 HUNT token bonus for the first 30 buyers buying for more than 300USD (worth 100USD).

The top five people will get the following bonus.

• 1st place (1 person) : 50,000 HUNT (worth $1,000)
• 2nd place (1 person) : 40,000 HUNT (worth $800)
• 3rd place (1 person) : 30,000 HUNT (worth $600)
• 4th place (1 person) : 20,000 HUNT (worth $400)

My personal strategy would be to manage to be as fast as possible (if you are anyhow interested in buying yourself into this IEO) to try to get into the first 30 investors. The international timeline for the start would be as followed.

Strategically, the European continent is not in a good starting time, as it is in the middle of the night. But for the American continent and Asia, Australia it looks good.
Additionally, I would not wait too long, as the first IEO was not offering STEEM but achieved 100% within the first 3 minutes and overachieved up to 50%. Probit does not offer overachieving, so when the 7,5 Million HUNTs are gone, they are gone. I have already various information from different sources that the Korean Steem community is already preparing themselves for this IEO, as they were waiting for the possibility to buy in STEEM.

As mentioned above, not only STEEM but also EOS, BTC, ETH, and XRP are available.

The Probit own PROB coin is also available and offers the biggest bonus rate (additional 5%), but after looking in detail into the exchange be informed about the following fact. Probit offers only PROB/USDT on their exchange. They have also only USDT, BTC and ETH pairs. This means the only way to get PROBs is to transfer BTC or ETH to Probit, change it to USDT and then to PROB. This may payout when the transfer loss/win is manageable, as you will get a 5% Bonus.

5. Earn additional HUNTs with referral


I am sure that there are not that many users have signed up at Probit. Steemhunt x Probit is currently running a referral event where you get 1% of your friend’s purchase when they signup with your referral code. You can find your referral code under the menu “REFERRAL PROGRAM”.

6. Conclusion

It is really great to see the team that I have supported for almost a year getting their success on the IEO market. The Steemhunt x Probit IEO is really a great opportunity to join the IEO program without any hassle, as it can be bought also with Steem. 1. IEO란?

3. 프로빗 IEO 준비하기

a. 준비사항

• 프로빗 가입 : www.probit.kr첫 가입절차는 이메일과 이메일 인증으로만 가능합니다. (제 레퍼럴 들어있습니다. 하하^^)
• 추가 인증이 필요함 (KYC) : 1) 핸드폰 본인인증 => 여기까지만 해도 IEO는 참가 가능.

  2) 계좌인증 (은행계좌연동) 
  3) 증빙서류 인증 (주민증, 운전면허증, 여권) -> 증사진, 증 들고 있는 사진, 서약서 작성(증 첨부 사진). => 여기까지 하셔야지 원화 입금이 됩니다.

  

4. 주의사항

스팀헌트 공식 톡방 (https://open.kakao.com/o/g1odiHhb)에 프로빗측에서 나오신 소피아님이 현재 상주하고 계십니다. 궁금한것이 있으면 빠른 답변으로 응대해주십니다.

• 현재 원화로 입금후 구입을 할 경우 가장 높은 수익률을 기대할 수 있어서 프로빗의 원화 입금 => 프로브 코인 구매=> 스팀헌트 IEO 참가가 이익일것으로 예상됩니다. 하지만 원화 입금은 KYC를 사진까지 찍어서 보내야 하며 (이것도 비교적 귀찮긴 한데, 할만은 합니다…) 그리고 원화 입금후 강화된 입금 정책에 의해 3일후에 입금 처리가 되어서 정말 빨라야 23일이나 24일경에 구매가 가능할것 같긴 합니다. 이때 한가지 걱정되는것은 총 물량이 750만개밖에 안되어서 완판이 빨리 되면 원화 입금만 되고 물량이 없는 경우가 있다는 부담이 있긴 합니다.

• 암호화폐 입금의 경우는 입금후 곧바로 쓸 수 있기 때문에, 스팀, BTC, ETH, XRP, EOS까지 가능합니다.

6. 결론

스팀으로 구매가 가능하기 때문에 기대가 큰 IEO 이며 KYC도 핸드폰 인증까지만 해서 귀찮은 것도 별로 없어서 좋은 것 같습니다. 한가지 걱정은 프로빗에서 제공하는 총 헌트 토큰이 750만개밖에 안되어서 지난 IDCM에서 봤을때 100%가 너무 빨리 되면 늦게 오시는 분들은 또 다음 IEO를 기다려야 한다는 것입니다. 프로빗의 경우는 100% 시 추가로 받는다는 것도 없는듯 하여, First come First get인것으로 판단됩니다.

어떤식으로 글을 쓸까 고민하다가, 그냥 지금 있는 그대로, 제가 생각하는 사항들을 적어볼까 합니다.
발단은, 스팀엔진 (https://steem-engine.com/?p=market&t=JJM) 이라는 곳이 생겨나면서 저같은 코알못(코드를 모르는 사람)도 10분만에 5만원을 들여서 코인을 생성할 수 있는 스팀생태계가 되어서 일어나는 현상에 대한 것입니다.

스팀엔진을 통해 코인을 생성하신 KR 분들은 몇분 계시는데, @luckystrikes 님은 스팀엔지상에서 STEEM과 SBD를 선점하셔서 발행하시고 airdrop을 통해서 일부 배포를 하셨습니다. @yesjam 토큰도 발행되어서 백서까지 만들어서 진행중에 있습니다. 또한 선무님의 @stablewon 프로젝트도 이미 배당을 시작하고 있습니다. 그리고 @virus707 님이 JJM 토큰을 발행하고 프라이빗 세일까지 진행했습니다. 하기글은 JJM 토큰 관련하여 추후 History 추적이 될 수 있도록 정리를 했습니다.

2. 개인적인 생각

• 일주일에 토큰 이코노미 내에서만 총 481.25STU의 시장가 매수가 가능함.

시장가 매수 (or 배당)을 했을 경우 JJM 토큰의 실질적인 가격은 지속적으로 뛸 수 있는 가능성이 있습니다. 다만 모든 큐레이션및 업보팅을 JJM 토큰으로 전환시 STEEM inflation으로 인한 장기적인 하락은 예상할 수 있습니다. 물론 이는 스팀이 현재와 가격이 변동이 없을시에만 해당되는 사항이긴 합니다. (그럴리는 없겠죠? ^^)

개발자 없이 움직이고 있는 상황에서 추후 JJM 태그에 대해 JJM 토큰 보유 현황 체크및 보팅을 추가로 하면 (개발자 JJM 토큰 지급을 통해??) 어느정도 선까지는 충분히 선순환될 수 있는 코인생태계가 만들어질 것이라고 보여집니다. 물량 락업에 대한 결정도 토큰의 기본적인 가치를 충분히 올려줄 수 있는 사항중 하나이고요. 또한 토큰 홀더들과 같이 의논을 실시간으로 하면서 의견 수렴해서 토큰 이코노미를 만들어가는 것도 신선합니다. 거래량이 거의 없는 스팀엔진에 맨손으로 활력과 거래량을 만들어가는 것도 흥미롭습니다.

하지만 이 프로젝트에서 가장 중요한 것은 역시 “신뢰” 라는 코드입니다. JJM 토큰의 실질적인 가치는 한마디로 축약하자면 다음과 같습니다.

드디어 스몬측에서 그간 발표되었던 임대 시스템을 드디어 시작했습니다.
간단하게 기능 살펴보겠습니다.

1. 카드 임대


우선 https://steemmonsters.com/ 에 가셔서 로그인을 하시고 Collection을 선택하십니다. 그리고 임대를 원하시는 카드를 찾으셔서 카드를 클릭하십니다. 그러면 DELEGATE라는 버튼이 새로 보이실겁니다.

임대를 원하시는 카드를 찾으시고 DELEGATE (임대) 버튼을 누르시면 누구에게 임대를 할지를 정해주시고 임대를 하시면 됩니다.

주의사항

• 임대후 회수는 언제라도 가능함
• 임대 회수후 레더에서는 7일동안 카드를 쓰지를 못합니다.(쿨다운)
• 토너먼트에서는 쿨다운이 현재 없음
• 여러장의 카드를 임대를 하고자 하면 한장씩 선택해서 해야함.

앞으로 추가 개발 사항

현재 스몬측에서는 임대 시스템만 개발한 상황입니다. 유상 임대등에 대한 시스템은 추후 피크몬측에서 개발을 할 예정입니다. 추가적으로 카드를 “모아서” 세트로 이동할 수 있는 프로토콜을 추가로 개발 예정입니다. 이것이 완료되면 카드 세트를 만들어서 임대가 가능해질 예정입니다.

2. 팩 토큰

추가적으로 새롭게 업데이트 된 기능은 알파나 베타 부스터팩을 스팀 엔진 토큰으로 전환해서 거래 가능하도록 만들었습니다. 방식은 다음과 같습니다.

• 스몬 공홈에서 부스터팩 오픈 사이트에 감.
• 부스터팩을 토큰으로 전환하는 옵션이 보임
• 토큰으로 전환할 경우 오픈할 수 있는 팩에서는 사라짐. 알파 & 베타 토큰이 스팀 계정으로 전송됨.
• 원할 경우 알파&베타 토큰을 @steemmonsters 계정으로 전송할 경우 다시 팩을 오픈할 수 있습니다.
• 이는 이후 인게임 currency인 DEC (Dark Energy Crystal)와도 연관되어 있다고 합니다.

3. 팩 생성 방법 변경

https://steemitimages.com/0x0/https://i.imgur.com/GsyhI7Q.gif 이전에는 팩은 구매시 팩 내용이 정해졌었습니다. 이는 팩을 구매한 후 그 팩 안에 무엇이 있는지를 이론적으로 (그리고 실질적으로) 알 수 있는 방법이 있었던 것입니다. 팩 토큰을 만들면서 이에 대한 방식을 개선하여 이제부터는 팩 내용은 팩을 여는 순간에 정해지도록 되어 있습니다. (즉, 팩 토큰을 구매해서 열어도 그내용은 오픈 시점에 정해진다는 것입니다. ^^)

4. 결론

각종 톡방에 가서 보면 스몬이 스팀상에서 가장 장수게임이라고 합니다. 스몬팀의 경우는 현재 @aggroed의 스팀 살리기, 스팀엔진 개발, 스몬개발 등을 한꺼번에 하고 있어서 약간 더뎌진것으로 느껴지긴 합니다만, 꾸준하게 성장하면서 한발 한발 앞으로 나가아는 모습은 스팀 프로젝트의 좋은 모습을 보여주는 것 같습니다.

주 공격 대상은 steemit.com 이라는 인터페이스구요, 블록체인 자체는 상관이 없다고 합니다. 현재 스팀잇 팀은 이를 방지하기 위해서 작업을 하고 있는 상황입니다만 아직도 스팀잇 사이트는 불안정한 상황입니다.

이는 최근에 실행한 steemit.com에 주었던 변화와는 무관하다고 합니다. 가장 빠른 소식통은 @steemitblog 가 될것으로 보입니다.

1. IDCM Details

 As @steemhunt has revealed, there are in total 4 IEO's planned at different exchanges and at least one exchange is going to list the HUNT token directly after the last IEO. We have now the information that IDCM and Probit are the first two exchanges and my personal guess is that Daybit is going to be one of the 4 IEO exchanges, but the last one is not revealed and there had been no breadcrumbs so far which exchange it could be.

Now the details for IDCM are released and I would like to share the information here.

2. Marketing activities

 In addition to the common marketing activities, @steemhunt also started to target crypto orientated customers in Korea. One of these marketing activities is to create a separate Chat room based on Kakao Talk, which is the main messenger used in South Korea. In collaboration with a big Crypto News and information site called [Cobak](https://cobak.co.kr/) they started an event to introduce Steemhunt to potential investors and users. Steemhunt is currently in the middle to create a wave between crypto investors and successfully gathered more than 800 interested users in their chat room within the first 20minutes of the first event. 

It seems that the collaboration with Cobak is very powerful, as the requested event app registered more than 1300 users at the same time in this marketing event.


3. What can we expect?

Nobody can predict the market or the behavior of investors. But as we have already two exchanges for IEO’s announced and the next two around the corner, it looks quite good for this project. I was live participating at the “Cobac Event” and it was incredible to see how fast users joined not only the event but also the chat room. At the moment the chat room is at a level of about 830 users and there are more events planned to increase the attention (also with Cobac) for this chat room and Steemhunt.

These users may not be directly converted to Steem users, but looking into the “general” questions from normal crypto investors in the chat room you could see things like.

• Is that Steem the same like “Steam” for games? (It is pronounced and written the same in Korean)
  • This means that normal Crypto investors do not really know what Steem is if they have not already invested in it.
• I heart that there is something like “delegation”, but what is that?
  • They are interested, as this kind of investing is totally new to them.
• Wow, Hunt token is for a top ranked Dapp.
  • We have several top Dapps based on Steem and it looks like that it is indeed a solid argument to attract investors.

A lot of Steemians may have recognized that the Steem price is rising again and we have to look close to the reasons. Based on the data from @coingecko, you can see that an estimated 60% of the trading volume in made in South Korea. We had a similar % when the last rising happened with Steem.

Different kind of Crypto Communities in South Korea “could” be partly responsible for this short bull run as there are views that Steem is currently undervalued.

Altogether, marketing for Steem based projects will reflect positively on the Steem economy in total and I am looking forward for the next few days, when the IEO for Steemhunt goes live and the next IEO exchange canditates are going to be revealed.

IEO를 준비하면서 마케팅적으로 충분한 홍보와 관심을 끌기 위해서 코박측과 협업을 하였는데, 스팀 외부에서 짧은 시간내에 많은 관심을 이끌어서 공유하고자 합니다.

개인적으로는 처음 보는 형태의 마케팅이였습니다만, 코박 라이브가 갖고 있는 타겟층 모집 파워는 상당한 것 같았습니다.

1. 코박 라이브 방법

• 코박 라이브는 코박 전용 앱을 통해서 참여할 수 있으며, 보통은 특정한 시간대에 접속해서 주최측에서 낸 퀴즈를 정확하게 맞춰야 합니다. 이때 퀴즈에 대한 힌트를 얻기 위해서는 주최측에서 정한 채널 (카톡방, 텔레그램방 등)에 접속해서 힌트를 받으면 됩니다. 보통은 이 카톡방이나 텔레그램이 추후 IEO나 토큰 판매에 관한 정보 채널로 운영이 됩니다.

2. 실제 첫 코박 라이브 행사 결과

• 코박 라이브 이벤트는 총 500분께 2백만원의 헌트 코인을 에어드랍 하는 행사였습니다.
• 2019년 3월 11일 12시 정각에 시작했습니다.
• 시작 전에는 특히 스티미언 분들이 카톡방에 진입하고 계신 상황이여서 약 50-60분정도 있었습니다.
• 시작 몇초전이 되고 코박 라이브 이벤트가 열리면서 순식간에 사용자 수는 올라가기 시작했습니다. 동시 사용자수가 7초만에 200명으로 올라가던군요.
• 25초 지난 시점에는 이미 거의 동시 접속자수 800명.
• 4분 좀 넘은 시점에는 1300명 가까이되어서 최종적으로는 1450명까지 봤습니다. (아쉽게 1450명은 스샷이 없…)
• 거의 같은 시간대에 50명 내외였던 카톡방은 800명까지 늘어남.
• 현재는 이벤트가 끝나고 글 작성 시점에는 약 830명 정도가 유지되고 있음.

3. 앞으로 기대치

현재 명일 (3월 12일) 한국시간 오후 6시에 2차 코박 라이브 이벤트가 예정되어 있습니다. 이미 대부분 비 스티미언분들 약 500분이 금일 헌트 토큰 에어드랍으로 스팀과 스팀헌트에 대해서 알게 되었습니다.

내일이면 추가로 행사가 있어서 (총 2백만원어치의 헌트 토큰 드랍을 500분께) 더욱 많은 분들이 스팀헌트와 스팀에 대해서 알게 되고, IEO에 대한 기대치를 갖게 될 것으로 예상됩니다.

As we have the first IEO for a Steem and SMT based project, it will be interesting what kind of mechanism has been implemented to protect the value of HUNT tokens.

1. Private Sale and Advisory Qty.

Unfortunately, it is not sure that they actually "advise" or are only selling their name value and getting Tokens in return. Additionally, private sales are a mechanism to give investors access to tokens with huge discounts. Together, these groups are one of the risks to dumb their token when a token get listed on an exchange. As an example, at the beginning of [Tron](https://tron.network/), there was a [FUD alert](https://theripplecryptocurrency.com/tron-fud-alert/) because a single account sold 11.2 Billion Tron tokens. For Tron, it was at the end a market maker trying to increase the liquidity. Having big quantities distributed to investors who are looking for really fast profit is difficult to handle when trying to protect the value of your token.

For Steemhunt there are almost no tokens distributed for this kind of cases so it will have no direct effect on the token price.

2. Minimize the effect of Timing

It is also related to the fact that at the beginning a lot of projects didn't have a working product but only a whitepaper. Between this time the risk for the investors participating at an ICO (IEO) is getting higher, as the possibility for liquidity is limited. Also, it can (it had happened) that a project does not work out at all and a token does not get listed at an exchange nor shows a working product. Steemhunt's strategy is that their IEO is going to have a minimum delay (within a month) between the IEO and the listing at the first exchange.

3. Realistic Market Cap

This is due to the changing market situation in between of place 230-250 based on @coingecko and at place 250 based on coinmarketcap.com. On the other side, Steemhunt is ranked between place 9th~21th at [StateOfTheDapps](https://www.stateofthedapps.com/rankings), which gives it enough room to move itself up in market capitalization volume.

4. Higher bounty but also higher loyalty from hunters

As first mover Steemhunt decided to airdrop 50% of their tokens and use it as accelerator to increase their userbase. This has of course also a direct impact on the token distribution. But we have to look into details how this tokens have been distributed.


Compared to other projects, where it is mostly required to join a telegram channel or gathering enough referrals, Steemhunt concentrated to distribute the tokens to users who contributed to establish and build up the community. This is increasing the loyalty of Hunt token holders to Steemhunt.

• Sponsors : Without sponsors there would be no rewarding directly possible until SMT had been implemented correctly. Most of the sponsors are highly interested in the success of Steemhunt as a project, not only for Steemhunt but also for Steem. This comes with the specific situation that a delegation of Steem brings to the Steemhunt environment, as successful Steem based projects will help to increase the value not only for the project but also for Steem.
• SP Holders: This part was essential to increase the attention for Hunt tokens and also the number of holders. This airdrop has been completed already in the middle of last year.
• Contributors (promotion and voting), Daily activity: reward for active users at Steemhunt
• Social Shares: Social contributors getting the message on a daily base out to increase the userbase outside of Steem
• Role contributors: community-based roles for daily operations.

With a total 13% of the Qty distributed at the moment, the bounty qty is indeed not small, but Steemhunt had also implemented a few measurements to protect the value for all Hunt token holders.

a. Abusing

All token holders who got their tokens with abusing methods have been canceled last October 2018. Also hunters who are blacklisted (due to different abusings) don’t get any tokens distributed.

b. Staking

To be able to further use Steemhunt and get rewarded it is crucial to have enough Hunt tokens kept in your current off-chain wallet. Based on your stake your User Score is directly effected. This means that if you have more Hunt tokens, it is better to keep them to have higher rewards and gain more Hunt tokens.

c. Withdraw limits

A lot of small token holders or a few whales could effect the market with dumps. To avoid these effects there is in the moment a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 10000 tokens per day withdraw limit from your off-chain Hunt wallet implemented. (Withdraw is not opened yet) As far as I am informed this can change based on the market situation.

In the end, the market will decide what the right price for a token is and nobody is able to predict a number. But we can see here, that Steemhunt has prepared a lot to avoid typical errors that could affect the value of their token in a negative way.
