We had yesterday a historic day where the JJM token had been reached the 0.1 STEEM level. The interesting part is that the 2nd of April was a bull day for BTC where the price increase was over 15%, but as you can see on JJM it does not directly react on effects of the crypto market. This is mainly driven because of the low Qty. available of JJM and additionally the low number of accounts holding JJM in the current moment. We will see a larger number of accounts holding JJM as soon as the JJM Steemmonsters tournaments are starting.


The daily overview of the DEX https://steem-engine.com/ is showing JJM as the highest volume in the last 24 hours with 716USD volume. It is compared to other tokens on Steem-Engine much higher, but on the other side compared to larger exchanges in the moment still a “not mentionable volume”. Steemmonsters BETA and ALPHA PACK tokens are moving on a similar level of around 10-20USD per day.

If you see the data, we see that we see that we had an increase of tokens into the economy on the 26th of March. This was the day when the presale Qty. was released. Despite the wish that it would stabilize the price, JJM is still increasing from the presale price of 0.01Steem to now up to 0.088Steem per JJM. We have now slowed down a bit but continued the pace of increasing holders. The price is still increasing and the latest update from https://steem-engine.com/ shows that the last bid for JJM was at 0.091 STEEM which is an increase of about 3.2% compared to the day before.


The daily overview of the DEX https://steem-engine.com/ is showing JJM as the highest volume in the last 24 hours followed by STEEMSC. Also, Steemmonsters BETA PACK tokens are moving on a daily base, but with a relatively low volume. Hopefully, this can change when the JJM tournaments are starting and more tournament cash is flowing.

@steemhunt의 첫 IEO가 IDCM에서 성공적으로 끝나고 Probit에서 두번째 와 세번째 아요(IEO)도 매우 성공적이였습니다. (아요 11초 완판~) 현재 스팀헌트의 헌트 토큰을 가지고 있는 투자자분들이 늘어나고 있고, 특히 스팀 생태계 밖에서 투자자가 들어오는 좋은 현상이 발생하고 있습니다. 몇일전 Daybit에서 헌트토큰 상장이 공지되면서 SMT 기반의 첫 댑이 정식적으로 중앙화된 거래소에 상장될 예정입니다. 그동안 스팀헌트팀과 커뮤니티가 열심히 달려온 결과라고 볼 수 있겠습니다.

왜 헌트토큰은 데이빗에 상장됩니까? 다른 큰 거래소에 상장하는게 더 좋지 않은가요?

이것 관련해서 좀 더 파보겠습니다.

1. 블록체인 프로젝트에게 거래소 상장 의미는?

2017년은 무지막지하게 많은 ICO들이 펀딩을 했고 그 돈으로 제품을 만들겠다고 약속을 했습니다. 뒤돌아 보면 이것은 사실상 백서 한장 달랑 들고 투자를 받은것이고, 투자 “후”에 무엇인가를 만들어내겠다는 WWW의 춘추전국시대 이후 다시 불어온 “묻지마 투자”의 시대였다고 봐도 됩니다. 보통 ICO를 진행할때는 그 프로젝트 홈페이지에서 ETH나 BTC를 받고 자기 토큰을 발행해주는데, 보통은 prototype을 만들때 써야 할 돈을 블록체인 ICO는 마케팅에 다 부어서 펀딩을 받는데 주력했었죠. 또한 팀을 부풀리고 개발자를 포트폴리오에 넣고 수많은 유명 어드바이저들을 영입(광팔이)를 위해 추가적인 마케팅 비용을 지불하는 것이 일반적이였습니다. 각자의 프로젝트 신뢰를 가능한 올리기 위한 기본적인 작업이였던 것이죠.

약 1년 반정도를 뒤로 하고 @coingecko를 살펴보면 총 4290 프로젝트들 중에 현재 지난 4주간 코드가 업데이트되어 “살아있는” 프로젝트는 63개밖에 안됩니다. 이는 선별되어 리스팅된 코인게코의 프로젝트들 중 실제로 1.4%만 정말 개발에 돈을 쓰고 있다고 보셔도 되는 것입니다. 이게 쇼킹한것인가요? 네 그럼요! 그렇다고 놀랍나요? 그렇지는 않습니다. 예상할 수 있었던 일이니까요.

2017년 Bull시장때 “블록체인”이 언급만 되어있어도 투자자들이 너도나도 모여서 돈을 넣었고, 그 이후 수많은 흑우들을 낳게 되었습니다. 좋은 의도로 ICO를 시작했던 프로젝트들도 코인 가격들이 내려가면서 운영이 어려워졌고요. (예: 스팀잇…. .ㅠㅠ) 여러 군데 거래소에 상장을 하고 영향력을 넓혀도 어드바이져들, 초기 프라이빗 세일 고래나 ICO 고래들이 던진 물량에 코인 생태계는 망가지거나 가격 방어가 안되어서 무너지는 것도 자주 볼 수 있었습니다.

하지만 그래도 거래소 상장은 프로젝트 생태계에 중요한 Milestone 입니다. 일부 토큰들은 DEX형태의 거래소에 자동 등록되기도 하는데, 실제 DEX들은 지난 2017년의 호황기를 지나 현재는 90%넘게 거래량이 줄어 허덕이고 있는것도 사실입니다. 일부 TRON, EOS의 DEX들은 게임, 도박댑들을 중심으로 어느정도 거래량을 보이기도 하고, 스팀의 경우는 스팀엔진이 시작되면서 많은 토큰 프로젝트들이 생성되어 스팀 생태계의 바람을 넣어주고 있습니다. (@steemsc, @jjm13) 하지만 이도 실질적인 투자자층을 찾기 위해서는 중앙화된 거래소 상장이 불가피한 것도 사실입니다. 결국 많은 외부 투자자를 찾을 수 있는 곳은 중앙 거래소이기 때문입니다.

2. 어떻게 코인을 상장할 수 있는가?

각 프로젝트와 거래소에 따라 조금씩 다르긴 합니다. 그러나 두가지 방법정도를 정의한다면 다음과 같습니다.

a. 프로젝트가 충분히 인지도가 있어서 거래소가 상장에 관심을 보임

이것은 일반적으로 이미 다른 거래소에 성공적으로 상장되어 활발하게 거래가 되고 있거나, 충분히 인지도가 있는 프로젝트이거나할 경우에 해당됩니다. 스팀의 경우가 비슷합니다. 가끔가다가 스팀의 피드를 보면 “어디어디 거래소에 상장을 위해 투표하고 있으니 참여해주세요~!” 라고 스팀 커뮤니티에 호소하는 글들을 볼 수 있습니다. (아, 그때 투표에서 이긴 거래소들은 도대체 어떻게 된거지?) 이는 스팀이라는 블록체인 프로젝트가 이미 인지도가 있어 투표와 같은 제도를 통해 상장을 결정하고 거래소가 상장에 관심을 갖는 경우입니다. 이럴때는 만약 프로젝트를 리딩하는 팀이 직접 거래소와 조금더 편하게 네고를 할 수 있는 상황이 만들어지고 마케팅 비용도 최소화할 수 있습니다.

b. 프로젝트가 거래소에 상장을 원할 경우

보통 이럴때는 상당히 높은 상장 비용이 들어가게 됩니다. 거래소측에서는 높은 %의 마케팅용 토큰을 요구하는 것이 보통이고 일부는 자체 프로젝트 토큰이 아닌 타 코인(BTC, ETH 등)을 추가로 마케팅/상장 비용으로 요구하는 경우도 있습니다. 보통 거래소 상장을 하게 되면 초기에 이벤트를 많이 하시는 것을 보실 수 있는데, 이 비용들도 보통은 그 프로젝트에서 마케팅 비용으로 지불하게 되는 비용들입니다.

이런식의 상장시 투자자들이 거래를 위해 더 많은 거래소가 생기는 장점이 있는 반면에 마케팅으로 풀리는 물량과 상장 비용 들어가서 프로젝트를 운영하는 입장에서는 비용대비 효율을 잘 따져야 합니다.

3. 왜 데이빗이 SMT 프로젝트인 스팀헌트를 상장하기에는 최적인가?


데이빗이 헌트 토큰을 최초로 상장하는 거래소로 선택된 것에는 전략적인 여러 이유가 있습니다. 데이빗 거래소에 대한 장단점을 보면서 분석을 해보겠습니다.

• 거래 볼륨이 크지 않다.

사실 여기서 단점중 가장 중요한 볼륨이 걱정되는 것은 사실입니다. 스팀헌트 프로젝트를 키우기 위해서는 거래량이 발생해야 하기 때문입니다. 만약 데이빗이 지금 현 상태에서 그냥 머물고 있다면 헌트토큰의 상장이 문제가 될 수 있습니다.

다행이 데이빗도 문제점을 인식하고 전반적인 전략 수정을 통해서 토자자들을 설득하고자 움직이고 있으며 이중에는

• 원화 거래 상장
• Day 토큰 전략 전면 수정
• 투자자들과 커뮤니케이션 강화

등이 있습니다. 또한 토큰 최초 상장을 위한 노력의 일환중 하나가 스팀헌트의 헌트 토큰 상장입니다.
사실상 스팀헌트 입장에서는 큰 거래소에 비싼 입장료를 지불하고 수많은 알트중 하나가 되어 자전거래외에는 거래가 없는 토큰이 되는 것 보다는, 데이빗과 함께 상장 및 성장하고 성공적인 모델을 만들어서 대형 거래소의 컨택을 먼저 받는 전략을 세우고 있는 것입니다.

4. 스팀헌트는 어디로 가고 있는 것인가?

 월 실 사용자수를 보면 많은 것을 답하는 것으로 생각됩니다. SMT를 지향하는 댑중 40만 월 유저와 일 3만 유저를 만들고 있는 것입니다. 외부 투자자들도 스팀헌트때문에 스팀에 대한 관심을 갖기 시작하며 스팀 생태계에 대한 이해를 하는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 

또한 눈에 띄는 것은 이전에는 보이지 않던 네이버에서의 스팀헌트의 모습니다. 스팀이 구글에서는 SEO가 강하지만 네이버에서는 거의 무시를 당하는 수준입니다. 그러나 이제는 네이버에서도 잡히는 스팀헌트 관련 블로그와 기사들을 쉽게 접할 수 있습니다.

5. 결론

아직도 암호화폐는 겨울바람이 불고 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 그러한 Bear 시장에서 IEO를 하는것이 쉽지 않은 것도 사실입니다. 그러나 스팀헌트 팀과 커뮤니티가 그동안 정말 잘 헤쳐나갔다고 생각하며 다음 리뷰헌트 런칭과 헌트 토큰 상장을 기대하고 있습니다.

The first IEO at IDCM and the second and third IEO at Probit had been very successful. Steemhunt has now a lot of new HUNT token holders also outside of the Steem economy. Now that the first listing of HUNT tokens is fixed at Daybit it is now only a few weeks and the first Steem based Dapp Token is going to be launched at an exchange. This is really exciting.

As Steemhunt is running different channels to answer questions about IEO, there was various kind of communications and questions coming from potential investors about the listing. But one of the questions that I heard from time to time was the following.

Why are you listing your token at Daybit? Why not at a big exchange?

I would like to get into the details about it.

1. What does a listing on an exchange mean?

2017 was the year of ICO’s where a lot of projects gathered money to develop their products. This means that most of the projects were gathering the money for something they were supposed to make “after” the funding. The normal process was to secure money for marketing the ICO itself. Also, a lot of money was needed to secure a bigger team to show that the project is able to finish the promised work. Additionally, a lot of the tokens or coins were spread to so-called advisors who were giving their names for tokens. In the end, each project tried to generate as much “trust“ as possible.

Out of 4290 projects listed on @coingecko, only 63 projects had a code commit in the last 4 weeks. This means that only 1.4% of the projects listed on https://www.coingecko.com/ are currently developing their projects. Is this shocking? Yes. Is it surprising? Not really.

The rush on projects that had the world “Blockchain” somewhere included in their name was almost crazy in 2017 and investors from young to old through and mostly sunk their money into ghost projects. And even if these projects had good intentions to develop their products, the cost of keeping an ICO and the dumping later on, after listing a coin on an exchange made the life for crypto investors in this bear time really hard.

But a listing on an exchange is still a very important part of a coin/token economy. As most of the coins/tokens were meant as utility tokens (and yes, it could be debatable to define what a utility token is, but we will not go into detail here) you will need a place where investors and users can actually buy or exchange your token. Some tokens also come based on their blockchain economy with a DEX, as EOS or Tron does. But at the end, most of the investor money is moving on centralized exchanges, which is the reason that you will need your token/coin listed on such an exchange.

2. How do you get listed on an exchange?

It depends on your project and the exchange itself, but we could define it in two ways.

a. The project is big enough that exchanges are interested

If we look into it as an example for Steem, there are from time to time different polls on exchanges to see if a certain user base would be interested in trading the cryptocurrency on their exchange. Mostly in those cases, the exchange itself is interested to bring a new cryptocurrency on board to increase the trading volume and user numbers. For a blockchain project, this would be the best way to get into additional exchanges, as the project would have a higher negotiation power than otherwise.

b. The project is approaching exchanges to be listed.

In this case, the listing comes in normal cases with a high price. Exchanges are asking for a relatively high % of tokens/coins of your project and partly also in other currencies to get your project listed. Also, another part where you need to invest in market making. So, the investing part is definitely much higher than the case a. listed above.

3. Why Daybit as first exchange listing an SMT project?


There are several strategic reasons why Daybit has been chosen as the first partner to list HUNT tokens. So let’s try to see the “Pro-Contra” list to make our own picture about it.

PRO

• Daybit was willing to implement STEEM/SBD as trading pair for this project.
• Daybit can swap HUNT tokens from ERC-20 later to SMT, as they have their own wallet solution.
• Daybit will start to offer FIAT on their exchange soon.
• Daybit is offering international access (not only for Korea)
• Daybit is working very closely with Steemhunt to match the needs for an SMT based project.
• High self-marketing efforts to push Steemhunt with Daybit. (Cost)
• Sophisticated Exchange solution
• API sharing with Steemhunt to link company demands directly with Daybit transactions.
• Mother company is a long advisor and partner for Steemhunt.
• Mother company is big enough to support the efforts.

CONTRA

• Current trading volume is not big
• Own DAY currency strategy was not clear in the past.
• Name value is still low.

We can see that one of the negative points is actually really important because you will need trading volume to get your project growing and your token traded. If we would look at the current status of Daybit, it would be the wrong decision to go based on the trading volume. But the problem is, that even on bigger exchanges you will have the problem that for smaller projects the trading volume is created either with cross trading or does not exist. As Daybit announced, they are currently in the middle of realigning their strategy to get back into the top 20 of exchanges. In addition to the launch of Reviewhunt at https://steemhunt.com/, we will see an additional boost of Daybit. Steemhunt is planning to connect the Daybit API for companies, so they can buy HUNT tokens for their Reviewhunt projects easily. As Daybit is also planning to introduce FIAT(KRW) pairs, it would make it much easier for bigger companies to issue and manage the financial part of a marketing project with Reviewhunt.

4. So where is Steemhunt leading Steem?

 I think this chart is showing the best effect for the Steem blockchain. We have now due to the IEO an MAU of over 400K for a Dapp based on SMT. A lot of investors also asking general questions about Steem itself and looking into details what Steem is about. 

If you search now for Steemhunt in Korean at the major search engine “Naver”, you will find a lot of content recently created about Steemhunt outside the Steem community and also more than 130 articles related to Steemhunt on the Korean News section.

Due to the marketing efforts from Steemhunt, the search result on Google also shows a lot of new articles about Steemhunt outside the Steem economy, which is in the end also positive for Steem and Steem holders.

5. Conclusion

We have at the moment a bear market. Launching an IEO in a bear market is not an easy decision nor an easy project to handle. I think the Steemhunt team and the community have done a great job until now and I am looking forward to the launch of Reviewhunt, the listing of HUNT tokens and the next steps this amazing community will show the world.

The purpose of making this announcement before we prepare for our league is that we need people (strategic evaluators) who can evaluate a strategy ahead of the game. If you want to apply for this part, please leave a comment.

They’re going to play two big roles in the game league (a role for Steemmonsters and a role on Steem)

The first role is to broadcast games at the level of explaining to beginners. Since beginners are the key here, we hope the strategic evaluators are able to stimulate their curiosity and interest. Of course, information on tactical strategies and tips should be central.

The second role is to analyze each player’s performance and strategy when game players are added before the game starts. This includes predictions about the winner.

The reward for the strategic evaluator is as following

• A certain percentage of posting from the account virus707
• If the nomination for the winner was right, 50% of the 1000 JJM reward pool for supporters will be distributed to the evaluator. (If there are multiple evaluators right, the 500 JJM will be distributed evenly)

3 Timeline

We are planning to promote the tournament long enough before it is going to be held.
We’ll check the pilot tournament to see what needs to be fixed. And with the support from Steemmonsters, we will try to minimize the trial and errors before the official launch.

After the official launch, JJM’s prize money will continue to grow, and the incentive prize will activate the card market for existing players.
We think that will also stimulate new players to enter the Steemmonsters market.

4 Our goal

is to engage also users who are not actively playing Steemmonsters but will have fun to watch, discuss enjoy the tournaments and create that kind of league for Steemmonsters with JJM.

5 Advantage for JJM

General awareness for JJM itself and also stable liquidity for wider use. Additionally, we would be able to create additional revenue with posting/advertisement.

1. The upvoting rule when using the JJM Tag for JJM token holder

a. General Rule

• 1% upvoting minium for JJM token holders
• ‘+ 1% per 1000JJM
• Max 45% upvote (max 45% is in the moment about 4.5$ STU)
• 1 upvote per day

b. Steem Power organization

• When the Voting Mana is not enough (the % is not yet decided) the voting will be passed in the following order.
• JJM holders -> @virus707 -> @jjm13
• jjm13 is the account that will be used to provide the dividends

c. Voting process

• It is planned to vote once a day and at the same time.

Next Steps

Daybit is looking forward to launching the first-ever SMT based project on their exchange and it would be also one of the first projects and Dapps where we have real users already using the product for over a year. 2002년도에 출시되어서 여전히 많은 유저들의 사랑을 받고 있는 ogame이라는 브라우저 기반 머드게임이 있습니다. 현재는 전세계 2백만명 이상의 플레이가 하고 있는 게임으로 독일에서 만들어진 게임입니다. 소스
간단하게 설명드리면 우주선으로 행성을 탐험하고 건물을 짓고 다른 행성을 공격도 할 수 있는 전략성 머드게임입니다. 스팀에서 활동하는 독일팀이 모여 현재 이 게임에 영감을 받아 @nextcolony 라는 게임을 개발중에 있습니다.

추가적으로 수입의 일부를 pool로 만들어서 플레이어들에게도 리워드를 할 예정이라고 합니다.

c. 방향성

이쯤 되면 일부 KR 분들은 아마도 지금 한참 말이 많은 드러그워를 연상하게 되실 것 같습니다. 우선 한가지 좋은 것은, @nextcolony측도 드러그워의 진행상황을 매우 상세하게 들여다보고 있습니다. 그리고 리워드 풀에 대한 밸런싱, 인게임 샵 아이템에 대한 밸런싱, 무료플레이어와 고금러 플레이어들의 밸런싱에도 상당히 많은 고민을 하고 있는 것이 그간 커뮤니케이션에서 보입니다.

추가적으로 bot에 대한 문제점도 인지를 하고 있으며, 실질적으로 개발 팀 멤버중에 스몬과 드러그워 봇을 직접 개발및 봇 사용 환경에 “기여(?)” 한 @rondras 분도참여를 해서, 이에 대한 대책을 마련할 것으로 보입니다. 완전히 막지는 못하겠지만, 게임성을 헤치지 않도록 조치를 지속적으로 하지 않을까 합니다.

d. 팀

이 팀은 전부 독일 커뮤니티 멤버로 구성이 되어있고, 3명으로 시작했다가 지금은 프리랜서 한명과 팀멤버 5명으로 구성되어 있습니다. 눈에 띄는 것은 beam 개발자인 @holger80 도 같이 조인을 했다는 것입니다. 스팀에서는 이름이 많이 알려진 명성도가 높은 개발자분입니다. 또한 현재 커뮤니케이션은 @oliverschmid라는 분이 하고 계시는데, 그간 @steemmonsters 나 드럭워, 매다등에서도 헤비 유저로 알려져 있어 스팀 커뮤니티의 속성과 게임에 대한 커뮤니케이션은 비교적 잘 이루어지고 있는것으로 보입니다. 팀원 전체 리스트는 다음과 같습니다.

e. 행성 옥션

 현재 https://nextcolony.io/ 에서 첫 행성 옥션을 성공적으로 마감을 했습니다. 총 3개 행성을 판매하는데 4천스팀 이상이 모였습니다. 지금은 두번째 옥션이 열린 상태이며, 11일후에 종료될 예정입니다.

이 옥션이라는 것이 참 재미있는것이 사실상 게임의 정확한 정보나 방향등 거의 아무것도 없는 상태에서 독일 커뮤니티와 넥스트 컬러니팀의 응답 댓글 (초기에는 대부분 독일어, 나중에는 영어도 추가)에서 정보가 추출되어 옥션이 진행되었다는 것입니다. 무엇을 정확히 사는지도 모르고 옥션을 들어가야 한다는 것이죠.

이 옥션에 나온 행성들은 두가지 희귀한 성질을 가지고 있습니다. 우선 등급이 레전더리 등급으로 가장 희귀한 등급이고, 자원은 Uranium을 생성하는 행성인데, 이 두가지 조합이 추후 게임에서 실제로 나올 확률은 “거의” 없다라고 봐도 된다고 봐야할듯 합니다. 게임 진행상 Uranium이라는 자원은 건물을 짓는데도 쓰이고 우주선의 연료로도 쓰이는 관계로 많은 우라니움이 생성되는 행성을 가지고 있으면 게임을 할때 꽤 게임내에서 성장에는 많은 도움이 되는것으로 보입니다.

2. 개인적인 생각

이런 종류의 게임들은 게임의 깊이와 게임성에서는 이미 마니아층이 형성되어 있는 상황입니다. 배틀에 대한 부분도 고려가 되어 있고 (초기에는 배틀은 런칭이 안될 예정이랍니다.) 탐험, 건축등의 요소를 이용한 시뮬레이션적 요소, 추후 배틀을 통한 전투 요소등으로 게임성으로는 완성도가 기대되는 프로젝트입니다.

간략하게 정리드리자면,

0. 배경

스몬측은 지난 한해동안 약 1.2백만 불의 매출(수익이 아니고 매출입니다)을 했습니다. 다만, 알고 있기로는 수입원 대부분이 암호화폐로 받아서 (스팀과 스달) 이후 스팀 폭락으로 인한 가치하락이 온것도 사실입니다.

이에 지속적인 개발과 로드맵을 실현하기 위해서 스몬측은 일찍이 부터 미국에 기반되는 STO를 준비하고 있었으며, 이를 위해 스팀기반 스팀엔진 프로젝트도 덩달아 속도를 내고 진행했던 것이 전체적인 그림입니다.

1. 스팀몬스터와 SMTT란

스팀몬스터의 STO 토큰 이름은 SMTT로 스팀(S)몬스터(M)팀(T)토큰(T)의 약자입니다. 스팀몬스터는 미국 펜실베니아에 등록되어 있는 C-Corp형태의 회사이며 504 Reg(d) 등록을 SEC에 해서 연간 총 5백만 USD를 공인 및 비공인(non-accredited) 투자자들에게 모집할 수 있습니다.

첫 시드라운드는 100K USD 만 모집하는 것으로 오픈 26시간만에 종료가 되어버렸습니다. 추가적인 펀딩은 예정되어 있습니다만 아직 정확한 시점은 알려져있지 않습니다.

2. 투자금 사용처

현재 투자금 사용처는 인게임 currency인 DAC (Dark Energy Crystal) 개발, 앱(iOS, Android) 개발, 토너먼트 업데이트및 마케팅 비용으로 쓰일 예정입니다.

3. SMTT의 실체

스팀몬스터의 밸류에이션은 이번 한해 매출 예상액 1.4M USD를 기반으로 SMTT의 마켓캡을 천만불 (10Mil USD)로 보고 있으며 이를 바탕으로 SMTT 개당 0.5USD의 가격에 판매가 되고 있습니다. 하지만 @glory7님의 글에서 보시는것과 같이 기업적으로 상당히 초반에 있는 기업으로 Series A 펀딩의 의미보다는 매우 초기의 Angel funding의 의미로 접근하셔야 할것으로 보입니다. STO라는 것은 사실상 주식형 토큰으로 스팀몬스터의 지분을 구매하는것과 비슷한 의미라고 생각하시는 것이 맞다고 보며, 초기 투자자분들은 스팀몬스터라는 회사가 계속 성장을 할 것으로 예상으로 하고 투자를 하는것으로 판단됩니다.

4. 개인적인 생각

스팀 기반 프로젝트들인 하나둘씩 투자금을 찾아서 더욱더 성장에 박차를 가해가는 모습이 좋습니다. 결국은 스팀 생태계에 이바지를 할 것이고 시작은 작게 했을지언정, 최종적으로는 댑 개발의 최종 목적지가 스팀이 될 수 있는 길을 하나둘 씩 만들어주고 있는 것으로 생각됩니다.

After https://steem-engine.com/ has started it is now a matter of 100 Steem and a few clicks to create your own token based on a side chain of Steem. There are several advantages and contras using https://steem-engine.com, but it seems that especially for some users the easy access to create tokens with Steem brought some interesting projects out of it. Now several projects would be interesting to mention and introduce to a wider audience (as they are currently targeted mainly for a specific group), but this time it would be the JJM token. (mainly publishing articles in Korean under @jjm13)

1. History and explanation of JJM

a. About the Coin

• Name: JJM Coin (derivated from Jjangjjangman)
• Created: 9th March 2019
• First Price : 1 JJM = 0.01 STEEM
• No ICO
• Total Supply: 300 M (No Inflation, Max Supply)
• Issuer: @virus707
• Explanation: Because there was no JJM tag
• About the Token: Not defined token economy and will be discussed with token holders.


b. Background of founder

@virus707 is a well known and respected user within the #KR community. Educating the KR community about different tokens and coins, virus707 also created the Korean tag “Jjangjjangman”, which supported new KR Steemians with an upvote (from his personal Steem Power of about 200K SP) without any special conditions, except that it was own content in Korean from a KR community member. The tag was running until March 2019 and has now been stopped, as @virus707 needed the Steempower to run the JJM token.

After the 26th of March 2019, in total 434K Steem Power will be available to run the JJM project. The Steem Power available is not delegated (only 1K Steem Power from another account) but owned and bought by virus707 for this project.

On an interview last year (in Korean), virus707 mentioned already that there was an SMT project planned, as soon it would be available, but it seems that virus707 decided to move on with Steem-engine, as it is available right now.

e. JJM token economy

About 98% of the JJM token economy and how it will be pushed into the right direction are still open and “TBD” with the JJM token holders. A few points that are already in progress (or had been processed) are summarized below. To make it easy to understand, it is kind of a fund, that invests and works with other Steem based projects to create value and dividends for the JJM token holders.

• Dividends: based on the portion (%) of JJM the account @jjm13 is gathering the dividend amount. The dividend amount is coming from the @virus707 account. In general, all kind of incomes for the virus707 account is included for dividends excluding a currently not fixed amount as profit for the JJM token issuer, which can also be used to power up the virus707 account with Steem power.
• The account @virus707 is invested per delegation or direct token investment in @magic-dice, @stablewon and is looking for additional cooperations that could increase the usability of Steem and Steem based Dapps and also the income for JJM.
• The total amount of the current dividends level can be checked under https://steemit.com/@jjm13/transfers
• The timing of transferring the dividends to JJM holders is not based on a specific cycle and will be announced very shortly before it happens to avoid an unneeded market pump of JJM tokens.
• A part of the income (dividends) will be used to buy JJM tokens on the market and these JJM tokens can be also used as dividends.

Future plans

There are different strategies under discussion and I would like to list a few of them that could be realized.

• Rebirth of JJM tag: when using the JJM tag a JJM token holder can get voting from the virus707 account. Voting power would/could match to the % of holding JJM tokens.
• Starting a JJM @steemmonsters tournament with JJM tokens not only for the winners but also for the analyst of the tournament (ex. analyzing the players, their strategy, etc.) and running an additional JJM bounty for watchers of the tournament who can guess the winner. This would make a Steemmonsters tournament much more interesting, not only for the players but also for people watching the tournament. (First step into esports) - related article in Korean from virus707 Additionally, it would help also to lower the entry barrier for Steemmonsters.
• Co-working with Dapps based on gaming, service, etc.

2. Personal thoughts

In the end, a currency is always based on trust. It is really interesting to see a new token evolving that is actually only based on trust. Current JJM holders are giving trust into a still uncertain project, seeing only the founder and project head @virus707. Based on the vision from virus707, international investors are also welcomed to this project
A few points as data.

• @virus707 SP: about 440K, an 100% upvote would be about 11.2STU at the moment.
• If virus707 would buy with the whole curation income (which would be about 192STU $/week) JJM tokens, that would be about 7.7K JJM per week based on the current market price theoretically available for dividends.
• virus707 is looking for a developer who can help to implement different visions that would need to be realized for JJM.

TL;DR JJM is a token purely based on the trust of a single user, that @virus707 will be able to make a working token economy.

So, JJM is currently at state 0 and keeping one of the highest volumes at https://steem-engine.com/ with realistic order volumes. It will be very interesting to follow the path of JJM and see how the project lead and the JJM holders will interact and develop the token community.
